month's recipe:
Easy
Chocolate Fudge Cake
INGREDIENTS
· 2 eggs
· 1/3 cup castor sugar
· 1/3 cup self raising flour
· 60g butter
· 125g dark chocolate
· 1/4 cup icing sugar for dusting
DIRECTIONS
1. Melt
chocolate and butter over a low heat in
a heavy based saucepan. Remove from heat
once melted and let stand for 5 minutes
to cool down.
2. Stir
in the sugar and lightly sifted flour.
3. Lightly
beat eggs with a fork and then stir into
the mixture.
4. Pour
mixture into a well greased bar tin.
5. Bake
in a moderate oven for 30 minutes or until
cooked when tested.
6. Cool
on a wire rack.
7. When
cool dust with icing sugar.
8. To make
this dish more special for Valentines
Day, simply buy a heart shaped cake tin!
